Our popular sky shows, “Hang out with the Stars®” and “Milky Way Hangout,” are tailored to showcase the beauty of the cosmos in different seasons.

As we approach the cooler months, the Milky Way Hangout offers breathtaking views of our galaxy. Warmer months allow for the visible observation of distant galaxies such as Andromeda and the Magellanic Clouds without optical aids. This vivid display of the night sky is a testament to the pristine viewing conditions available at our location, far removed from the light pollution of cities.

The experience at Outback Astronomy is designed for comfort and engagement.

Guests can choose from various seating options, including bench seating. You may like to upgrade seating to an upright or reclined chair for a more relaxed viewing experience. For those chilly winter nights, we offer the option to hire a sleeping bag, ensuring you stay warm as you gaze upwards.

An audio system provides real-time commentary me – your sky guide – bringing the celestial sights above to life.

The Sky Tonight is another sky show regularly scheduled. It offers a closer look at the Moon, stars, any visible planets, and may provide updates on ongoing space missions, enriching your understanding of the universe.

Additionally, our commercial kitchen and bar offer delightful treats and beverages, allowing guests to enjoy wholesome snacks in the PLUS ticket, under the stars, further enhancing the immersive experience.
