We will take a closer look at the Moon using powerful telescope optics. You can see the surface features and imagine astronauts exploring the craters and mountains. It is a fabulous object to get to know well, and it is conveniently visible day and night, every month, as the lunar cycles unfold.
Children can attend free of charge. Children must be aged between 5 years and 15 years. It is important that all children be supervised by accompanying adults or parents. A ratio of one adult per three children is appropriate. If you have a very large group of children, please find some additional adults to book in and help you supervise the group in accordance with the ratio, thank you!
Bring your own binoculars and fold up chair. Only telescope gazing will be available. Bench seating is available.
No personal audio used in these sessions. A public address system will be used for larger groups or in windy conditions.
