Total Lunar Eclipse - Tuesday 3rd March 2026

At sunset on Tuesday 3 March 2026, a full moon rises. It is hosted by the constellation Leo. The sky is brightened after sunset as the rising moon reflects sunlight all about the night sky. It is so bright that any place in the sky near the moon is awash with intense illumination. Jupiter will be spectacular viewing this night. We get to experience total darkness on this night of the full Moon – as its face is blocked by the shadow of Earth.
