🌟 Good Friday & Easter Saturday (April 18 & 19) – Dinner with the Stars & Milky Way Hangout
Don’t worry about shopping for dinner on the Good Friday public holiday! Come along to Dinner with the Stars for a relaxing dining experience in the outback under a stunning sunset. After a delicious meal, settle in for the Milky Way Hangout, where you’ll gaze into deep space and witness the beauty of the galaxy with expert guidance. Easter meal selections are made in advance when you book online, and include our popular main meals – our take on a classic chicken curry, a homestyle slow cooked beef Irish stew or a chickpea/haloumi/spinach curry (GF). The online booking price includes an entrée, main, dessert, followed by the sky show – the fabulous Milky Way Hangout – reclined chairs with sleeping bags (if needed) and a hot chocolate. Bar service is offered, featuring our boutique wine selection from Orange, NSW, and also beers and non-alcoholic choices.

🔥 Easter Sunday & Easter Monday (April 20 & 21) – Sausage Sizzle & Milky Way Hangout
For a more casual yet equally spectacular experience, join us for a Sausage Sizzle followed by our signature Milky Way Hangout. Perfect for families and friends looking to unwind, enjoy great food, and marvel at the vastness of the cosmos. The sizzle is more than adequate for a meal – sauced up sausages in bread with caramalised onions, a non-alcoholic beverage and an ice-cream chaser (typically vanilla ice-cream with chocolate or strawberry topping and crushed nuts).

Please also be aware that weather at this time of year is generally good, warm during the day and not too chilly at night. However, please always pack thermals, beanies, gloves and scarves for any outback travel as the weather can turn with sudden temperature drops of 10C or more. Always check the weather on your favourite site. We recommend this one – the BOM’s site. Note that very few weather services are good at long range forecasts in the Broken Hill area UNLESS they advise they have “human” intervention.
